    Many of the best CMS systems allow site owners to modify the looks with skins or themes. CMS systems try to take a seperation of presentaiton and logic approach to building systems. Skins are the presentaiton layer and as such many times are geared at designers. After all everyone wants a pretty web site and they dont care (sometimes) how it looks/works underneath the hood, so to speak.     Hiring someone to create a CMS skin/theme can sometimes be a crapshoot. Will they use the right colors or make a nice use of my logo?  Will they capture my business the best in the design?
