Review: Time Tracker Pro is a good suite of simple tools that could be done on spreadsheets but this format is so much easier. The only reason that Time Tracker Pro does not get a more stellar rating from me is the small update problem it seems to have. When adding a time sheet entry I have to close the time sheet 'screen' and reopen it for it to register the addition of a new entry. This problem exists on a few of the screens and is a minor problem but annoying if you do not know its the problem. The first time I used the software I enterd the same item three times thinking it had not saved it.
The reports the software puts out are adequate but definitly not invoices, I use Excel to make my invoices for right now untill I can find something better, but theya are good to hand to a client so he can gauge when and what you are doing.
The one feature I really like above all the others in this software package is the time clock. It is super simple easy to use and automatically adds the time it records to the time sheet with notes. I have found this to be the one have to have feature as I stop and start a bunch when working on freelance projects. |
